Transfer Limit: Unlimited has become a very popular file sharing program that can be used for both business and personal reasons.  There are a number of features that make it a great opportunity for file sharing, online collaboration, and much more.  One of the things that helps stand out is that many online backup companies do not have a comprehensive file sharing ability.  However, with so much emphasis placed on these additional services, there are some potential drawbacks to consider as well.  This review will cover potential benefits and drawbacks that you should keep in mind. Overview has gotten recognized as having one of the most user-friendly interfaces on the market, especially for people who want to share documents, photos, and videos with friends, family, and even co-workers and business associates.  There is both a free and paid version.  With the free version you get about 1GB worth of storage space whereas the paid version offers much more space as well as some additional premium features.

Box.Net Benefits

•    Reliability – One of the most important things to consider when choosing a online file sharing or file backup service is reliability. posts a 99.9% uptime, plus it also features 10 versions of the file system as local snapshots.  This means that if there ever is a problem, files can quickly be recovered.
•    Nothing to Download – One of the biggest benefits of using is that there is no software to download and maintain.  Not only does this make your account easy to access, but it also means that you will never have to worry about upgrading anything.  Every feature and functionality is all upgraded and maintained through the online service.  This also improves the scalability that you can take advantage of.

Box.Net Drawbacks

•    No Automatic Backup – It is important to keep in mind that is not designed to be a primary backup solution, rather a file sharing solution.  Because there is no software to download and maintain, there is no way to setup an automatic backup.
•    Limited Options With Free Account – If you are trying to set up a free account, the process is very simple, however the free account is limited on space and premium features.  Fortunately, the monthly rate is on par with the rest of the file sharing industry so the premium accounts are very reasonable, especially considering all of the additional features that you can get access to.

Box.Net in Review

Just like with any online file sharing service there are several potential benefits and drawbacks to consider before making your final decision.  For most people, the advantages easily outweigh the drawbacks, however it is entirely dependent on your specific needs.  In most cases, the reliability and ease of use outweighs any limitations on the free account.  Also, because it is primarily designed as a file sharing service, most people don’t mind not having an automatic backup solution.  The best part is that it is designed so that the average person can benefit from the service, while it also features the scalability to meet any businesses needs.

1 Review of File Transfer Service

I tried for a few months but then quit. I think it’s too expensive for what you get. Other services offer the same service almost and cost way less.
